Marc Stephens Increases Credit Score from 0 to 753 in 12 days - Authorized User RESULTS
A client wanted a 750 credit score. I immediately obtained a copy of her credit report to locate and analyze inaccurate information. There were several collection items reporting inaccurate information on her credit report with Transunion, Experian, and Equifax. Due to the inaccurate information, her credit score was reporting as 524 on Transunion.
On June 2, 2018, I submitted a dispute to all three credit bureaus to remove several collections from the credit report.
On June 28, 2018, all of the collections were deleted. As expected, the credit score dropped from 552 to zero, because I wiped out all remaining negative items from the credit report.
On July 9, 2018, I added the client to an authorized user account which had a statement posting date on the 11th. The credit score was increased from 0 to 753 on July 12, 2018. Credit Karma only provide weekly updates to the credit report, so the results showed up on July 21, 2018. Technically, it took 3 days for the credit score to increase by 753 points.
All results are permanent. The creditor is not allowed to re-insert the deleted items. The legal restrictions against the reinsertion of previously deleted information are covered by FCRA 611(a)(5)(B).
